- I watched Trent, fascinated as he wolfed down all the food I'd brought. He also fed Niguez bits out of his hamburger.
- Even though he still looked pretty banged up, hooked to all those machines and all, I was glad that at least his injury wasn't so bad that he couldn't eat. I was even more glad that I met him conscious. I don't know how I would have felt if he was still unconscious.
