Chapter 13 Pudding

• The throbbing pain in my gut was the first thing I felt as I slowly regained consciousness. The repetitive beeping of the monitor that stood beside me soon became a nuisance. I just wanted it to stop. I glanced beside me and saw that I was connected to a drip.
• It was very early in the morning, I could tell because the sun rays filtered in through the white blinds on the automatic-sensor louvred windows.
