• DANIEL’S POV
• The conference room felt colder than usual that morning. The big oak table stretched out, covered with screens showing numbers and charts. I sat at the main spot but Jake did most of the talking leading the meeting.
• My mind still buzzed from the party last night seeing Ellie Davis with my father had been a huge shock. That feeling had not left me. My gut still twisted with questions I couldn't answer. I tried to focus on the meeting on our new company plans but part of my mind was stuck on Ellie.
