• Belinda POV
• "You are dead" Room leader stood up
• I know she's strong and all
• But I was astonished.
• She hit the one who is their leader and beated her till she faints
• The 3 others almost pass out with fear
• She only gave them slaps before they started apologizing to me.
• I groaned in pain
• I was still hurt
• "Are you ok?" Room leader bend down beside her face painted with worry
• She wiped the blood dripping from my nose.
• My head was getting heavy and my conscious was slipping away
• "1011,1011" I heard room leader yelling my number before I black out
• My eyelashes fluttered and I opened my eyes
• I rolled my eyes and sighed
• I saw white ceiling and frowned
• 'Where am I?'
• I recalled all that happened and touch my tummy
• The pain is gone though my head still felt a bit foggy
• I slowly rise from my bed and sat
• I looked around
• 'Looks like am in the hospital'
• "You're awake"
• I glanced towards the door and saw the Room leader.
• She quickly moved to my bed and touch my head worriedly
• She creased her brow
• "How do you feel?"
• "I'm fine now"
• "Will you go back with me or you still need to rest?" She further asked
• "I'm fine now we can leave" I replied
• "Can you walk?" She questioned with care
• I stood up and saw I can walk I nodded to her
• "Let's go"
• I held her hand before she could leave
• "Thank you" I muttered as tears gathered in my eyes.
• "Come on you don't have to just don't let anyone bully you and if they do I'm here for you" she patted my hair
• I sniffled and was close to tears. She reminds me of my Mom.
• I missed Mom so much and she hasn't come to visit me the last time I saw her was at the court.
• I hugged Roomleader and started wailing
• She said nothing and was just petting me.
• I cried till I feel tired and sleepy
• Room leader insisted I stay in the hospital but I have already made up my mind to return with her.
• One year later
• "Linda" she called
• "Linda" she called again and I groaned
• "Linda" she shaked me this time and was forced to open my eyes
• "What?" I barked.
• "It Room leader she asked to wake you up" Rissa replied timidly
• Rissa got here 6 months after me
• She is just 18 and very young,she killed her grandma that's why she's here.
• I never believed it because she looked so innocent and easily threatened. She didn't even have the strength and mind to kill but she never denied it so we all just kept shut.
• "What did she want?" I grumbled
• "I don't know" her voice was shaky
• I hissed and stood up
• Ever since room leader taught the people who beat me one year ago a lesson no one dared to bully me again
• They all know am her favorite even the ward mate gave me special treatment
• "Linda, come here!" Room leader waved at me from where she was seated.
• I went to her reluctantly as I still want to sleep
• "What did you……"
• "He's here" she cut me off
• I widened my eyes in bewilderment
• "Really" my eyes lighten up
• "Go see him" she winked at the warden guarding us
• Room leader had money and connections so life here was not that hard.
• Our meal was different from others
• Mine and the room leader were also special and I just needed to tell her what I wanted and I will get it.
• "Come on Linds" the warden urged me
• She opened the cell and I step out
• "I will be back" I waved to room leader
• I and the warden then walked towards the visiting room.
• I can't help but feel nervous
• My heart was pounding,my palm was sweating and I took a deep breath to calm down.
• 'What if he doesn't believe you? What if he thinks I'm lying to get my sentence reduced? What if….'
• "We are here Lind" she opened the visiting room for me.
• And my heart beat accelerated
• I was damn scared I don't know why
• I know I shouldn't be this afraid
• I went in and came face to face with him.
• "Long time no see" the familiar voice came out
• The voice I can never forget even though it's been a year and we only met once.
• The only one who seems to believe in me
• The detective from my case
• I don't know how the Room leader found him for me.
• I only told her if only I can meet him and she made it happen
• "You lost your voice or something?" He asked when he saw I wasn't saying anything.
• I sat down and the glass between us makes it looks like he was far
• "It been a while" I finally spoke up
• "Turns out there's nothing wrong with your voice after all"
• I grinned.
• "Going to prison doesn't turn one into dumb" I scoff
• "Whatever I was told you were looking for me" he went directly to the point
• Yes the thing is I….."
• I hesitated but he urged me to continue
• "I mean it just that,I wanted to tell you that,I mean…."
• I was clutching on my shirt
• "Linda, you can talk, I'm not going to bite," I nodded.
• "I never killed her, it was my sister. She did it all. I was also guilty because I was there when it happened and I didn't help the innocent Lady and I took the blame to help her career and this led me here. I need your help" I said without giving him a chance to interrupt.
• "You are finally willingly to confess" he smirked
• "You knew?" I questioned in surprise
• "Yes,you weren't anxious when I was interrogating you you looked as if you are prepared to be the murderer no matter what"
• "I see thanks for believing in you but that not why I called you here"
• "Then why did you call for me?"i can hear the curiosity in his voice
• "I need to get my sentence reduced,can I retrial?"
• "That will be hard, no one will believe you now."
• "So there's no hope" I felt helpless
• "Who said there's no hope? I will be back in 3 days. I'm sure there's a way" my eyes lit up with happiness.
• "Please don't let my family know of this" I plead
• "There's something you should know" He looked at me and I could sense pity from him that piqued my interest.
• "Your sister is getting married to your ex fiancée" I felt my heart dropped
• I stopped loving Mike but I was disappointed, I wonder if he knew she's the real murder how he will feel of he knew
• My heart hardened.
• 'Catherine am coming for you' I clenched my fist and my nails dip into my flesh
• "It in 3 days" he added
• I nodded and smirked
• "Since there's nothing more I'm leaving" he stood up but I stop him before he do.
• "I don't catch your name the last time"
• "It Kelvin,Kelvin Mart" He waved and I remained seated even after he left.
• 'Catherine you don't only ruin me you still took Mike,I will soon be back wait for me sweetie' I was in deep in thought and didn't hear the warden talking
• "Let's go back" I muttered and she led the way back to my ward.
