  • She sighed and buried her face in her hands. As his fingers closed around hers to draw them away from her face, she felt light-headed. When she peered up into his eyes, she saw him beaming warmly at her.
  • "I'm sorry, Grace. I didn't want to embarrass you. Still, I have to say that your blush is totally mesmerizing," he whispered gently, tracing a finger over her face. She shivered slightly as the path created by his finger burnt into her flesh. She watched his tongue dart across his lip, gently wetting it.
  • He pulled back an inch and cleared his throat. "Miss Newman, I have prepared lemonade, a fruit platter, and some munchies for us. It would have been wonderful if I had some wine, but I will reserve that for another date.”
