• The first battle had gone smoothly, though some of our warriors were injured. After making sure Charles was settled, he asked me to stay with him a little longer, but I declined. Right now, Red Moon Pack needed me more than anything.
• I headed to the makeshift hospital where the wounded were being treated. The hospital had been set up quickly in the open space behind the packhouse so I could easily check on our injured warriors and ensure they received the best medical attention.
