• It had been a week since father insisted Audrey and I get married, and the woman has successfully avoided me like a plague. Whenever I went to her room, hoping to have a conversation about the recent happenings in our lives, she was either unavailable or deeply asleep. A deep sleep she was definitely 'conscious' of.
