Chapter 23

• The change of environment was so sudden that Sophie didn’t know what to make of it, it makes no sense that the king would want her to be moved out of prison and then he made sure to turn the dungeon into a mini hotel room just for her and now, he moved her to the emerald house. Sophie stood in awe as the guard opened the door to the entrance.
• “What am I doing here? Why did you bring me here? Is the king here? Is he drunk?”
• She couldn’t help asking. The guard has been nice to her so she expected him to answer all of her questions and yes, he did.
