• When David left Hillspring Teahouse, I stayed back and thought hard again with furrowed brows. He was really impressive; he was good at picking locks, tracking someone, pickpocketing and stealing. It would be great if he could work exclusively for me, but unfortunately, a person like David would never take orders from me.
• Judging from what he discovered, it seemed like Jackson and Jaden were at odds. To Jessie and I, this was great news as it was best if they fought among themselves. As for Madison the D-list actress, I assumed she was Jackson’s mistress, and she might be useful to us.
• After mulling it over, I came to a conclusion. Although Jackson suspected Jessie and Madison, his main suspect was still Jaden. This was just a hunch, though. I didn’t have any solid proof to prove this, but if I was in Jackson’s shoes, I would certainly have my doubts on Jaden.
