Chapter 37 Halvir's Greeting To Gavriel

  • Hans had clearly stated his decision as one of Anindira's guardians. On the other hand, Hans has also acknowledged Gavriel's existence as Anindira's legal partner. Now, only Halvir will make his decision.
  • ''Ruvi, how about we take a little walk out of the village, we patrol a little through the Blue Forest!'' Hans asked Ruvi who was always on standby downstairs.
  • Ruvi was silent for a moment, looking at Hans with a look of pity. He heard all of Halvir and Hans' conversation above. As a man, he deeply sympathizes with Halvir, Hans, and Gavriel's plight. For Ruvi, they were all very reliable men, even for young Gavriel, Ruvi had seen him as a man who could be responsible. Ruvi feels sorry for all of them who are inevitably forced to be able to accept circumstances against their will.
  • Even in the Beast's World, a woman could have more than one partner and a man would vie to be able to mate with them. However, that didn't mean they didn't have a choice about whether to accept anyone. Both men and women also have feelings and do not just choose a spouse randomly.
  • ''Eum,'' said Ruvi replied, ''I've heard it. Well, I'll accompany you... maybe I can also find something.''
  • Even though he couldn't help anything, at least he could accompany Hans, who needed a friend.
  • Wasting no time, they immediately went to explore the Blue Forest. Deep in the forest, they didn't find anything suspicious. Hans carefully looked around and deftly picked some plants, adding to his stock of medicine.
  • In the forest they also found two large beehives to take home. Ruvi brought one for him, and Hans got one too, as a nutritional supplement for Anindira and Gavriel.
  • ***
  • Fifteen days had passed, and Anindira had passed her critical period. She still has a fever and has not regained consciousness. On the other hand, Gavriel's condition is getting better. The torn wounds on the flesh on his body have also been completely closed, now only leaving black scabs.
  • The beast-man is not only physically strong but also, endurance. Their speed of regenerating damaged body tissue cells is also quite fast. In plain view, Gavriel had recovered, but not completely. The outside had healed, but the broken internal organs and bones had not healed one hundred percent. He is healthy again, but the intense movement is not yet allowed. But, alas, he could no longer be patient, he could not keep waiting.
  • ''What are you doing here?'' asked Axel, who replaced Ruvi's job helping Halvir and Hans.
  • ''I want to see him,'' answered Gavriel, then stepped forward.
  • ''I know, but not now!'' shouted Axel to prevent him, while trying to take Gavriel away from there.
  • ''I accept the consequences, I'm aware of the risks…'' said Gavriel, not wanting to be outdone, even though his face looked tense. He kept trying to brush Axel away from him.
  • "BOOM"
  • The loud sound of a large object landed right behind Gavriel.
  • It turned out to be Halvir who had jumped down, glaring at Gavriel. His eyes were exactly like those of a beast locked on a prey target he had been after for a long time, his facial expression was that of a death god who reclaimed a prey that had escaped from his hands.
  • Axel, who was ranked Emerald there, was barely able to move his body because he was surprised to see Halvir, but he knew that there was no use for him in chasing Gavriel away. Slowly but surely, he backed away, trying to leave the battlefield for the two of them.
  • Gavriel was trembling, he was also tense and scared. Of course, he was trembling. Gavriel is still a child to a Halvir. Gavriel seemed to see a giant figure ready to eat him, making him swallow hard, holding back his anxiety. Gavriel's heartbeat was also pounding wildly like a horse trying to run away.
  • Suddenly, Gavriel's body crashed into a tree across from him. Neither Gavriel nor Axel was either surprised. None of them had the chance to see Halvir's attack so fast. The acceleration speed of the Sapphire was truly amazing. Gavriel's body crashed into a tree, then fell and made him vomit fresh blood from his mouth.
  • From the start, Gavriel had been ready to receive Halvir's attack, but he was still surprised because he couldn't see Halvir's attack at all.
  • Gavriel was having a bit of trouble, but he still managed to stand up. He knew that he was nothing compared to Sapphire like him. But, Gavriel didn't want Halvir to look down on him, he wanted to show Anindira his worthiness as a man.
  • Just as Gavriel started to stand up, Halvir was in front of him again.
  • Once again, the attacks came. This time, Gavriel's face was hit by Halvir's punch. Gavriel's body again fell to the ground, he was thrown again by a second punch to the face.
  • Gavriel's body was tall and quite muscular even though he was still a teenager. However, Halvir's body was much bigger than Gavriel's. And, now, with his fury, he looked like a giant clutching prey.
  • Halvir choked Gavriel and lifted him in one hand. It only took a little more pressure and Gavriel's neck would have been crushed under his hand.
  • Hans saw the brutal sight of Halvir preparing to crush Gavriel's neck. But, just when he was about to stop Halvir…
  • His legs stopped moving.
  • In line with Hans, Halvir also gasped. They both immediately looked up. Halvir threw Gavriel's body, then just left him.
  • ''Bro... bro... brother Ha-vi...'' Anindira's hoarse voice called Halvir's name.
  • ''Dira!... Dira, you wake up...'' Halvir said. In an instant, he was on top, then immediately supported Anindira's head.
  • Anindira very weakly tried to open her eyes, her mouth repeatedly swallowed hard, because she felt dry on her lips and throat.
  • Hans quickly, immediately mixed honey and water, then drank it to Anindira.
  • Anindira slowly opened her eyes while drinking the water, then Hans carefully examined Anindira.
  • ''Good... She's awake, her fever has also gradually gone down since last night,'' Hans said in a relieved tone of voice.
  • "Dira, how are you?" How do you feel now?'' Halvir asked softly right in Anindira's ear with his hand supporting her while hugging Anindira's body.
  • ''Hu... Huu... Hurt...'' answered Anindira, groaning in a weak and hoarse voice.
  • ''Is there something you want? So that you can be a little better...'' asked Halvir while continuing to hug Anindira from behind, sitting down and supporting Anindira's body in his lap.
  • ''Ehm-mh-mh...'' Anindira just shook her head.
  • ''Relax,'' said Hans while patting Halvir's shoulder, ''We can be relieved now. Anindira isn't fully conscious yet... Don't push her too hard!''
  • Hans, with a relieved smile, then went downstairs, deliberately leaving the two of them alone.
  • Halvir kept hugging Anindira, stroking her, caressing her without saying anything. So did Anindira, who just kept quiet enjoying Halvir's gentle touches. Anindira liked Halvir's breath that tickled behind her ear as well as Halvir's chin and jaw, which kept rubbing against her shoulders and neck. They let go of their longing without a word being said.
