Chapter 26 Gavriel

  • Zia lent her coat and shoes, because Anindira is a little shorter than Zia, so her clothes and shoes are enough for her to wear. Ruvi only carried Zia, because it was inappropriate for Ruvi to carry Anindira, a woman belonging to another man, unless he had to.
  • Sometime later, they arrived at the river. Ruvi was quite surprised by Anindira's physical endurance. She was able to walk without rest for several hours, even though he had to keep up with Anindira's small steps. For Ruvi, for a woman, Anindira is quite strong. Anindira looked very relaxed. Because of that, Ruvi started to think back to what they had said earlier at home.
  • ''Anindira... Are all the women in your village the same as you?'' asked Ruvi, who was curious and wanted to know more?
  • ''Eum... What do you mean?'' asked Anindira, confused by Ruvi's question.
  • ''I mean their body, physically. Eum, are they as strong as you?" asked Ruvi innocently, he seriously asked that.
  • ''Strong?!... Who?... Me?!'' Anindira exclaimed in shock, ''No uncle, not like that... It's normal…'' Anindira answered shyly.
  • ''No!'' shouted Ruvi, firmly denied, ''You are strong, can walk that far. But you, you look normal. You seem to enjoy it…'' said Ruvi, convincing his opinion.
  • ''But, uncle, walking like that is normal for me, as well as my family or some other people in my place... So I think it's normal,'' explained Anindira plainly.
  • Women in this world are physically stronger than women in the modern world. It's just that, with the abilities of men who are above normal, of course, women seem very weak. Because of that, women become too pampered. Because of that, finally, women find it difficult or almost impossible to show their tough side.
  • ''That's great, so you guys are used to being like that…'' Ruvi said with an amazed face, ''Earlier, Zia also said, you usually get up early.''
  • ''Yes, sleep enough, then get up early. It's good for physical and mental health,'' Anindira answered confidently with a proud face.
  • Ruvi and Zia were a little confused by Anindira's words, but they also seemed hypnotized by some of Anindira's explanations about some of the other benefits of getting up early and also taking a morning shower using fresh water.
  • ''Eum... uncle, can I take a shower?'' Anindira asked, trying her luck after explaining a few things, ''It's already noon, the water won't be too cold either,'' continued Anindira with a pitiful face.
  • Ruvi thinks about it, and he is a little confused because, in his eyes, Anindira is strong. But, the woman who was sick from the cold was also a reality.
  • ''I'm sorry Anindira, I can't allow it, please understand!'' shouted Ruvi with a pitiful face, ''Halvir left you with us to look after you, I can't let my guard down, so be patient and wait for Halvir to come back!'' Ruvi added.
  • Ruvi patiently and gently, but also firmly, explained to Anindira.
  • ''Okay uncle, but, I'm just going to wash my face, is it okay, like that?'' asked Anindira to persuade Ruvi with a pitiful face.
  • ''Okay, just wash your face, don't take a shower!'' answered Ruvi while rubbing her head.
  • Anindira immediately went to the river, she rinsed her mouth, brushed her teeth with grass, and washed her face, lightly brushing her hair with damp fingers.
  • ''You don't want to wash your face too?!'' Anindira shouted, calling them, waving at the river bank, ''The water is so fresh... Zia, this is fun.''
  • Anindira was very happy even though she was just washing her face. But, being able to refresh himself, after a bit of arguing, was enough to make him complacent.
  • Anindira realized that she was only living with and depending on them, she didn't want to become even more shameless by becoming a brat who didn't know herself. She convinced herself that she just needed to be a little patient waiting for Halvir to come home, ''Only two weeks, it won't take long,'' thought Anindira, encouraging herself.
  • Seeing Anindira, who was very happy when she entered the water and looked very fresh, made Zia jealous. She stepped forward to try it, but just when she put her finger into the water, Zia was already surprised by the cold water.
  • ''Aah... No!... It's cold, Anindira...'' cried Zia and immediately jumped away from the river.
  • ''Hahaha...'' Anindira laughed out loud seeing Zia's behavior, who still showed a panicked face.
  • ''How can you stand it?'' Zia asked later, but she was also very curious because she saw Anindira enjoying it so much.
  • ''It happens because you're not used to it,'' Anindira teased Zia.
  • ''Anindira, you're not lying to me, right?!'' Zia exclaimed with a sullen face, ''Is it true that this way we can maintain our appearance'' cried Zia, asking sullenly.
  • ''Of course!'' Anindira exclaimed confidently, ''Why would I lie to you?... You can see the proof...'' said Anindira, stretching her hands to show herself.
  • ''All right...'' said Ruvi, mediating the debate between two young teenagers on the riverbank, ''Do you still want to play?'' asked Ruvi, chuckling, he was happy to see the two happy girls, It's time to eat, let's go back!'' shouted Ruvi reminding them.
  • ''Okay!'' they shouted in unison, still with happy smiles visible on their faces because they were satisfied playing in the water.
  • "Uncle, can I pick wild vegetables while walking?" asked Anindira.
  • ''Wild vegetables?... For what?'' asked Ruvi.
  • ''To be eaten, of course,'' answered Anindira with a cheerful face, ''I used to eat it with meat, Havi allowed it... he even helped me look for wild vegetables.''
  • ''Sure!'' exclaimed Ruvi replied with a smile, ''It's okay, I know there are some clans who regularly eat vegetables too.''
  • ''Thank you,'' replied Anindira with a smile on her face.
  • ''Ruvi, morning...''
  • Suddenly, a young man's voice greeted Ruvi, he was carrying a Deer on his shoulder, and it was clear that he had just returned from hunting.
  • ''Zia, you woke up early today,'' said the young man to Zia.
  • ''Eum,'' Zia answered briefly without looking at him, she was lazy to answer, but she had to, because of ethics.
  • ''So you like to eat vegetables?'' asked the young teenager, then, he glanced at Anindira, ''I'm Gavriel from the Lion Clan…'' he introduced himself again, ''You weren't with Halvir today?'' he asked with an expression. cheerful.
  • ''Gavriel, keep your distance!'' shouted Ruvi, giving a warning.
  • The aura that Ruvi showed was different from when he talked to Anindira and Zia.
  • Gavriel took a few steps back immediately, but remained straight and stared at Anindira.
  • ''Fine,'' answered Gavriel firmly, ''But, I'll still talk to him, okay?!'' exclaimed Gavriel, asking very bravely but still politely. Even though he looks confident, as a young teenager, he tries hard to withstand the intimidating pressure of Ruvi, who is an Amethyst.
  • ''For two weeks, Ezra's family will be temporary guardians, so you better watch your attitude!'' shouted Ruvi firmly warning again, ''Until Halvir comes back, don't overdo it, if you don't want anything to do with Mischa, let alone Halvir! ''
  • ''I know,'' said Gavriel, ''I also don't want to be in trouble with Mischa or Halvir.''
  • That young man sincerely took Ruvi's good advice.
