Chapter 707 The Eccentric

• Lucian grew increasingly bored as he waited in the long queue. He estimated that it would take four to five hours for the hundred or so people ahead of him to register, assuming each person took two minutes. Many others, like Lucian, also grew bored and began chatting idly while waiting.
• Since it was only the preliminary round and not much competition was involved, the competitors engaged in friendly conversations. In addition to chatting with Alvis, Lucian also had pleasant discussions with two other doctors who were participating in the competition. These doctors practiced family-inherited medicine and had come from different places to take part in the event.
