Larry had no idea what had happened, but he was completely exhausted as he slumped to the ground, feeling relieved and drained. The other hostages did the same when they realized that their family members were safe, slumping to the ground and laughing out loud.
Lucian knew that the biggest threat to their mission had been eliminated with the rescue of the hostages. Since Noah was already captured, the only thing left for them to do was to clean up the battlefield. So, he ordered, "It's time for our counterattack!"
His order ignited his team's fighting spirit as the three teams regrouped. Liam and the others got out of the tank and charged through the alleyway with their rifles. The snipers were also making their way over to regroup with Lucian. Everyone understood that the counterattack needed to be swift in order to crush whatever fighting spirit remained in the enemies.
