• I watched him work on his sister and try to get her back to normal. I started to think that he was not such a cold and selfish person after all.
• Everything Zoey had told me at the dining table started to get to me as I saw him in a different light. He was a father figure to her. The hunk of a man had sacrificed his time and everything to help her stay alive.
• He only cared for her safety and he was right for doing so. She was helpless and she would not survive without him in her life.
