Chapter 2

• After this tragic event, Judith decided to keep the secret quiet and let her family live in peace and tranquility. Jenna was already 10 years old, her life was as quiet as any other. When she came home from school, her mother received her very happily, because it was her wedding anniversary and in the closet, behind some wrappings, she had discovered her husband's gift, instead she had made a special favorite meal for Mark, who always made time to go home for lunch with his family, he was very attached to her.
• Everything was ready when the key clicked in the lock and he entered, turning quickly because he knew his daughter was rushing to greet him.
• Jenna was a fervent admirer of her father, to her he was her hero. Mark took her in his hands, he lifted her up, spinning her in the air and laughing, for him she was his angel, his life, his beloved daughter, he gave her a kiss on the forehead and put her down. Later he was received with a big kiss and hug by his wife Judith, who was always waiting for him anxiously, they loved each other like the first day.
• "Happy Anniversary love!" said Judith very happy kissing him with passion, because she loved her husband, Mark watched her and expressed calmly.
• "Love wait a moment, I have a little present for you". He walked anxiously to their room, opened the closet, moved some things and took out the gift he had hidden there for his wife.
• He went out very cheerful and happy until he reached her who was standing waiting in the living room, he had it hidden behind his back, and commented very happy.
• "To my true love, to my muse of life, Happy Anniversary my love!"
• Judith replied all happy and loving.
• "Thank you, my love!"
• She placed it on a small table to open it, for she had only seen the wrapping, but not the contents. As she opened it she removed some fabrics to cover the real gift which was a beautiful cocktail dress and fine heeled shoes as beautiful as she was.
• "What a beauty love! Thank you, the color I love oh dear, that's why I love you."
• She grabbed him to kiss him, they stood in the middle of the room before the curious eyes of her daughter who smiled looking at the love her parents professed to each other, she applauded that event, her life was one of total happiness.
• At the end of their kiss, they embraced the fruit of their love, their beautiful daughter who ran into her parents' arms, the three of them formed a beautiful picture of family love.
• In spite of having employees, Judith cooked for her husband, she loved to do it and those who worked in that house admired her employer, she was so gentle with them just like her boss.
• Mark went to the dining room to sit with his family, but Judith loved to serve the food to her husband herself, she didn't do it out of obligation, she did it out of love, then she sat with them. They talked while they ate lunch, the girl ate greedily but happily, her father always asked her how she had done in school, he told her that he loved her, that she was his pretty little doll. When they finished, he would stay an hour more where he would play with his daughter, hug his wife on the sofa, always giving them quality of life. Then he returned to work, his company was one of the most recognized, because his business skills had paid off, he already had many branches nationwide, his parents were very proud of that.
• One day he was arranging the closet and some papers fell down when he picked them up he remembered what they were about, he left it there again and said to his daughter.
• "My love, if someday I am not with you in this life, look back here there are two envelopes, one for your dad and one for you, but only when I am not here".
• Jenna looked at her without understanding, but only nodded her head, not imagining that her mother had something in mind, something that would change her family's life forever.
• Judith would go out with her friends to do pilates, to shop at the mall. Jenna stayed with her nanny who helped take care of her. One day she had the idea of going to visit her husband at the company as a surprise, she went up in the elevator, preening herself because she wanted to give him a big kiss. No one noticed her presence, not even her secretary who was not there at that moment, so she just opened the door and got a big surprise that hurt her heart. Her eyes saw her husband having sex with his secretary, without saying anything she ran to the elevator, she was crying her eyes out for the betrayal she saw with her own eyes, when she arrived at the parking lot, she got into her car with her brain agitated and without reason.
• The car moved, screeching its tires, as she drove off like crazy she didn't see another car coming in, she crashed into it and then crashed into another car that was passing by, the biggest impact was where she was. There was something that Judith witnessed, Mark's car had just arrived at the company and when he saw her in the crashed car, he ran to her side all scared, leaving his car almost in the middle of the street.
• "My God, no, my love, what were you doing here? What happened? Please don't move, they already called the ambulance."
• Judith realized that he was not the one having sex with the secretary, she regretted having misjudged him and said in an almost muffled voice.
• "I came to...give...you...a...surprise, but I saw.... your secretary... having sex in your... your office, I thought... it... was... you.... I... went... crazy... with... pain, I didn't... realize... realize... of... nothing, sorry for... doubting... of... you love"
• Marck realized she was in bad shape, her chest pinched by the steering wheel, the door was sunk into her side, she was bleeding badly, he was able to open the door and hug her, he burst into tears as he heard her and tearfully mumbled.
• "I would never miss you love, I love you, you are the only thing in my life, my dad...he stayed in my office today, you should have called me, please hold on love, for our daughter love".
• Judith already felt faint, she watched him suffer, cry for her, she rightly thought of Mark, her father has the same complexion as her son, that is why she made a mistake and paid the consequences. There she was in the arms of the man she loved and who loved her, with her hand she ran her hand over her husband's crying face and exclaimed with all the love in the world for him.
• "I love you Mark...take care of our daughter."
• Then her hand slipped from her husband's face down, for he had already died and Marck realizing this cried out with so much pain he possessed at that moment.
• "Judith love, don't leave me...love, don't go...noooo, don't leave me."
• He pressed her against his body, drowning his cries in her breast of his love. Some employees had noticed and alerted his employer's father, who went downstairs to see what was going on and saw that painful picture of his son hugging his daughter-in-law all bloody, maybe even dead as he could hear the painful words.
• To see there a man in love crying for his wife who had died in his arms, is the most painful thing to witness. Her employees felt the suffering when they heard the news, because they knew Judith's good heart, she had sometimes intervened for some when they had problems so that her husband would give them space or time to solve them and some financial help.
• The ambulance arrived, but when they looked at the scene they knew they could no longer help her, she was the one who was most injured, causing her death, the other drivers had minor injuries, they let the man unburden himself.
• Mark's father came to help his son, because they had to take her to the morgue, it was difficult to make him release his beloved wife, but finally they did it, leaving standing in the middle of the street a man with such a strong pain in his heart, he had lost the woman he loved above all.
• He watched as they put her in that damned black sheath and closed the zipper, wheeled the stretcher up and took her away. His father told him he would drive to follow her, Marck looked like a robot, he just got in the car and they drove off in the back of the van.
• When they arrived, they had to give their statement, as they finished while waiting, Marck reacted, he remembered what his wife told him, he turned to look at his father and exploded saying very angrily.
• "Why the fuck did you have sex with my secretary in my office dad? why? Judith saw you and.... and thought it was me and... that caused everything... I lost her!... I lost her... because of you, I just... I asked you to... help me... for God's sake... Judith died because of you!"
• His father was absorbed listening to him, he didn't realize anything, his son was blaming him for his wife's death he looked at him and expressed sadness:
• "Son I..."
• Mark looked at him furious and very hurt and shouted at him.
• "Shut up!... shut up, I didn't know what you were doing in my office behind my back, I would have told her so she would never think it was me, she would have kept that secret for me, damn it she saw you!... She thought it was me...! She thought I was betraying her dad...! I lost her because of you! Shit, she died and... I loved her, I loved only her, always her".
• He sat crying on one of the chairs while his father felt guilty to see him suffer and to have lost his daughter-in-law whom he loved very much.
• While the tragedy and pain was in the morgue, Jenna was at home playing hide and seek with her nana, she was hiding in the closet, when she moved and unintentionally pulled a tape that held some labels of a suitcase that fell to one side bringing with it the two letters, but she did not give it importance because she was just a child, her nana found it, both laughed, the nana saw the disaster and picked up everything and put them up the closet where they were, even the letters that fell behind other boxes that were there.
• Oblivious to the tragedy that happened a few moments ago, a cute innocent girl playing, waiting later to hug her mother as she always did when she returned from her outings and her father when he returned from work. Never for her clean and innocent mind would she even imagine the pain that would come into her life instead of the joy she was used to receiving every day.
• Her poor father was also thinking about her, about his little girl, that's why he suffered and cried, he didn't know how to get home and give her that painful news about her mother whom she adored and he loved. His pain was that his father, to appease his carnal desires, used his office without telling her anything and his wife thought he was cheating on her, reacting with so much pain that she suffered that terrible traffic accident, where she died in his arms. Mark was with his head bent down and his face covered with his hands, he was crying with so much pain, his tears had already wet the floor.
• His father felt so guilty about it, he didn't think that, by using his son's office, anyone could think it was Marck and that mistake had the most painful consequence for everyone. His son blamed him with all the reason, when he remembered his granddaughter, there he started to cry of knowing that he was the cause of leaving his beloved granddaughter without her mother and he said whispering:
• "My granddaughter will hate me... she will hate me when she finds out... I... left her without her mother, noooo... it was my fault.... She's going to hate me!...Jenna's going to hate me...she's going to hate me, noooo".
• Mark could hear him suffering for his granddaughter, he got up and approached his father to hug him and he knelt down in front of his son saying.
• "Forgive me son, forgive me! Jenna my granddaughter... she's going to hate me when she finds out that I... that it was my fault for... of being left without her mother... I want to die!...I don't want her to hate me noooo" He was really scared and squeezed his son's legs.
• Mark crouched down on his knees also saying.
• "Calm down daddy I...I'm not going to say anything to my daughter...I don't want her to hate you, not that..... calm down please!"
• But his father was shaking crying, Mark pressed him against his body and said something that left his father astonished.
• "I forgive you dad!...I won't say anything to my mom either, she mustn't know, she would suffer for the deception."
• He helped his father to get up so that they could sit down, but he did not let go, he kept crying in repentance, Mark also suffered imagining that his father's conscience weighed on him, there they both remained waiting for the results of the autopsy and to be able to take care of the funeral of his wife.
• This so painful tragedy, a loving man in love with his wife loses her in such a cruel way, her father and father-in-law committed adultery where he should not have and was the trigger for the death of his daughter-in-law, the worst would come later when a tender innocent girl would know that she was left without a mother.
