Chapter 9 Attack Blue As Ice - Part 1

  • The first thing the girls did was run into the bedroom. The guns were on the bed.
  • The fire consumed the corridors. Blue and cold as before.
  • "Let’s get ready. The room can be consumed. " said Kendra concentrated.
  • The blonde used the air to take two backpacks and fill with things like clothes, potions, fruit and other necessary things they had received from the coordinator. Lucky you had this class recently.
  • With their backpacks on their shoulders, they set off towards the corridor.
  • The fire now seemed more alive, and Kendra briefly leaned on it, noticed that it also burned. A changeable heat that soon after burning, froze.
  • "All right? " said Mira loudly, the shouting of the people was so much that she could not hear her own voice.
  • "Yeah, it was nothing.
  • The girls continued running, but were surrounded by Dowykais. The creatures drooled and growled.
  • Mira knew they wouldn’t hurt her, but the other was a different case. Besides, they had to make their way.
  • She aimed at the right side toward the ground while Kendra imagined a scythe as her weapon. It was a blue scythe, transparent, almost invisible, logically made of air. But would it cut? That’s what they would see.
  • Mira hit the arrow on the ground, causing an explosion that drove most creatures away. As for Kendra, she handled the scythe as if it were a simple fan. It was as light as a fan. The heads of the animals were harvested and the path was opened.
  • They kept running, looking for the coordinator, but the elf was nowhere to be found. Some younger students rushed to defend themselves, but the girls didn’t know where to take them. Everything was in chaos.
  • Meanwhile the flames grew stronger and higher. A Dowyakai came to meet him and Mira defended herself by putting the bow in front of her. The creature bit the bow. Suddenly, fire ignited the animal leaving the bow intact.
  • "Now you can’t say I never helped you. " said Jack.
  • His red hair was messy. He looked tired.
  • "Jack! " smiled Kendra.
  • "All right? Miss Between is looking for you. She asked me to take you to her.
  • Meanwhile, Mira saw something that surprised her. A man walking through the flames, he was on his back, heading towards the library. The short white hair was the only thing on his head.
  • It was him, the emperor, his brother Dylan. Mira ran after him.
  • "Mira, where are you going? " Kendra asked worried.
  • "Where is she going? What’s going on? " asked Jack confused.
  • Kendra followed her friend and, without much choice, the boy too.
  • The man was fast and Mira had to hurry up to follow him.
  • "Dylan! " she screamed. "I’m here! Come face me!
  • But the king ignored her.
  • The young woman passed through the corridors, dodging the crowd and the animals trying to attack her, and finally reached the library. However, upon entering he had a surprise. The emperor was no longer there. What was there was just a note. Another.
  • Mira picked up the paper on the first desk in the library. It was exactly like the first one, however, was written in common language.
  • That idiot was playing with her. The girl looked frustrated at the place. The fire was getting there. All books and knowledge would be destroyed. The bookshelves, tables and chairs made of mahogany as well.
  • "For what?" - he thought.
  • He approached the page to read better, but someone was approaching.
  • "Mira! " was the friend who was with Jack in pursuit. Both panting.
  • "It was Dylan. " said the priestess showing the note.
  • "Who is Dylan? " asked the curious redhead.
  • "A relative of mine. It’s none of your business. " replied Mira.
  • "Mira... " Kendra scolded her. " What does the note say?
  • The young woman was a little apprehensive when reading the contents near the boy. But she had to trust Kendra.
  • "Here’s what it says:
  • "Dear sister, I hope you enjoyed my visit. Unfortunately I can not stay there for long, but my creatures can last all year. If you keep hiding, I’ll keep attacking. Coming to Harlisze is the best way. Your family will be waiting for you. Go home and everyone you love will be safe.
  • Signed: The Emperor."
  • Seconds later the note caught fire. Mira took a step back, frightened.
  • "I didn’t know you had a crazy brother. " said Jack, amusing.
  • "Neither do I. " said taking a long breath.
  • She didn’t even know him and the man was already giving her a lot of work.
  • "Let’s just go to Miss Between. She’ll know what to do. " said Kendra.
  • The trio left, but the corridor was surrounded by creatures.
  • "Need help? " It was Elliot who had just attacked an animal with his burning fire.
  • "Of course. " said Isa showing up with a water whip that took several away while being whipped.
  • " "Let some fun for us. " Rick laughed
  • The animals began to float. The boy moved his hands in circles creating a whirlpool. The Dowykais were sent away, but closer together.
  • Soon the group was gathered in a circle. Several elements united, fighting for a single purpose. One person was missing there.
  • "Isn’t Mirelle with you? " Mira asked as she shot an arrow into a creature’s eye.
  • "Here! Watch the ground! Hold on. " said Mirelle appearing.
  • "Hold on? " asked Kendra.
  • But before any answer, the frizzy-haired one hit her foot on the ground making him tremble. The group tried to hold on to the walls of the place, but it was in vain. They all went down.
  • The animals ran scared to the opposite side. When there was no more danger, Mirelle raised her hands and moved them as if opening something. Thus, a huge hole appeared in the ground, sucking the creatures to an unknown place.
  • "Next time try not to take the help along to the grave, Relle. " said Elliot standing up.
  • "Let’s go before more appear. " Jack told Kendra, helping her get up. " Hold Mira’s hand so they don’t get lost.
  • The young man held Kendra’s hand and pulled it, which consequently pulled her brown-haired friend along.
  • The creatures that were in the corridor ahead chased them and the fire followed them. The young men hurried their way.
  • The group passed through the corridors so fast that the former directors could not even be seen.
