• Sitting in the poorly lit hospital room with Jacks and Charlotte was obvious tension. Still in shock by the blast, Jacks shifted in bed and winced. Charlotte had red rimmed eyes and a determined and worried expression on her face. The sterile air of the hospital and the far-off buzz of machines made their most recent experience seem even more bizarre.
