• Tyler burst through the heavy oak doors of the groom's suite, Derek close on his heels. Shouts echoed from the gardens below, mixed with the distant crash of breaking stone and marble.
• "Down the stairs," Tyler said urgently. They sprinted toward the marble staircase leading to the palace grounds. Derek's boots pounded the steps, trying hard to catch up to Tyler, who moved as fast as the wind.
