- Tossing my jacket on the counter, I rolled my shoulders. They had been so tense after the encounter that I finally felt them loosen and it almost hurt. Ria had already discarded her shoes as she padded into the kitchen. Pulling out one of her watermelon sparkling waters, she let out a heavy sigh after a drink.
- “I don’t think I like champagne.”
- I let out a chortle. “Good to know. One of these days I’ll have you try some of the alcohol that Felicity makes. You might like it since it’s a bit sweeter.”
