• I COULDN'T describe the ache I felt in my chest seeing Abigeal like this. She was usually so strong, so stoic and even though I knew she wasn't as unfeeling as she seemed to everyone else, she always knew how to handle everything life threw at her.
• But she wasn't handling this, and I couldn't blame her. Discovering that every bad thing in your life could have been avoided with one decision would take its toll on anyone. At least it finally afforded me an opportunity to know her story.
