Chapter 24

• Daphne paced round the room , her heart skipping and the fear of having Josiah at the pack ended up making her more scared of what the future holds for her . This is not what she plans for her life , she did know that one day she will have to see face to face with Alpha Josiah , the same guy who had rejected her some months ago but she never knew it will be this soon.
• Alpha Ben stood at the entrance of the room staring deeply at her , she knew he had hurt her deeply, but he couldn't help it either . Cheating on her was what he never planned to do . He wanted to wait for her until she accepted him but things got a little bit out of control, he didn't remember the event of the night but he did know that he walked into Maria's room out of anger . He needed someone to talk to and Maria had always been his friend, he trusted her so much but he never knew all would be this bad .
• Staring at his mate , who seemed troubled, made his heart bleed yet he could not do anything about it . He wanted to run to her and tell her , he was sorry for everything but he was too weak and hurt to do so, rather he stared at her . Her eyes switched to his, she looked at him and there was a worried look on his face , with this she suspected the fact that things are not okay with him , some must have gone deeply wrong but she still could not know what was wrong and what had happened.
