She turned to him before putting a forced smile on her face. "I'm feeling much better now. The car is much warmer than outside," she uttered.

I wasn't being thoughtful. I should've got you to change into your outfit only after we arrived at the venue. You wouldn't feel so cold if we had just changed after arriving indoors."
