Chapter 21

• I stand up and put the book in my back pocket. My shoulders slump and I slowly walk back to the pack house. I'm surprised no one came looking for me. Usually there would be search parties everywhere if I wander around by myself.
• My stomach angrily growls at me. Ugh... I'm starving! Once inside the house, I tip toe to the kitchen and grab a bag of potato chips.
• Mmmm... potato chips. As I head to my room I walk by Leo’s office and hear raised voices.
