" Love back? , what do you mean by that?... Dexter you humiliated me, and left me without a reason, I had to be the one who cancels the wedding. Do you know how humiliating that was for me, I guess not coz you'll never be in my shoes."
Although all this bickering reminded her of all the humiliating moments she had when Dexter dumped her using a text message, and how she was the subject of gossip among her co-workers and those they had invited. She still kept her cool and did not shed a single tear. To her this proved that she was way over Dexter and had mourned her relationship with him, hence why she didn't feel anything for him.
She then opened the door and was ready to hop in to the car when Dexter tightened his grip on her.
