Chapter 47 Meeting the Jones

• Once they were done with their chit-chat, Liam excused himself as he still had some work to do, tomorrow is a holiday and he's supposed to be relaxing at home with his loved ones but here he was working his but* off so that he can provide for his family.
• He opened his laptop and started typing something, it was quiet in the office room and only the sound of the keypads could be heard, he would from time to time look at the woman on the couch not far from him who had already fallen asleep. It could be because she was bored or maybe because she had over fed herself with all the food Wilson had ordered or maybe her body was exhausted from all the anxiety. When Liam was done for the day, he quietly packed up his bag and then gently woke Ciara up.
• Now that the time had arrived Ciara kept sweating profusely, her nerves were on peak, although Liam had told her not to worry, she just couldn't help herself. All the negative questions kept bothering her, 'what if she doesn't like me?, what if Maggie cares more about family backing and benefits?'
