• “We need to get going sweetheart or we are going to be late for school.” I heard Elijah say with a cocky grin on his face. I look over at Jake and I saw him look at him with an annoyed and irritated expression on his face and then I see he rolled his eyes. That was when he turned his head back over toward me. I didn’t know what just happened and why he gave Elijah that kind of expression on his face, I don’t know what going on with these two, but I know one thing is it’s getting crazy and weird seeing how they are acting to each chatter.
• “Yeah princess,” You don’t want to be late, or do you want to stay here and stare at us with your bedroom eyes, huh.” I heard Jake say stared into my eyes with a smile on his lips and a laugh deep in his chest. But the smile didn’t reach his eyes. I can see the way he's looking at me. He wants me, I can tell that. Also, he told me that in the last two months ago. I know I should believe him and Elijah, but I am so stubborn and hardheaded.
