Chapter 24 The Mysterious Man In The Hat

• The city streets were still relatively quiet as Celeste sat in the taxi, staring out the window with a restless look. She had a gut feeling she was being followed, but she wasn’t sure. Suddenly, the taxi came to a screeching halt. Two men in black jackets and full-face helmets forcefully blocked the car’s path.
• “What the hell?!” the driver shouted, his voice laced with fear.
• Celeste jolted as one of the men yanked the door open with brute force, shattering the window in the process.
