Chapter 212 Toss Them in the Sea to Feed the Fish

  • Chen Xingjie felt humiliated by her single sigh. In a flash, he snapped. “Hey! Where the hell are the bodyguards? Get in here, now!” He roared while yanking on his clothes. The bodyguards heard him and rushed in. “Throw these two filthy sluts into the sea. Feed the fish.” He bellowed. The guards lunged like starving wolves. The two blonde women didn’t understand a word. They had no idea what was happening—blank faces, pure panic. They fought hard, but a few brutal slaps left them dizzy. Someone wrapped them in blankets and hauled them away. Outside, in the hallway. The blondes were being carried off, ready to be tossed straight into the sea—just as Ronan Crest happened to walk by. He’d stood on the deck for a while, mind buzzing, planning to crash in his room for a bit and only come out again when the Golden Egg Fried Rice auction kicked off. He reached his door, hand going for his card, and then saw it. “Huh? What’s this?” Ronan Crest frowned. “Move. Don’t block the damn way.” The guards didn’t recognize Ronan Crest. Seeing him in their path, the lead guard snarled and shoved, trying to push him aside. “Back off.” Ronan Crest didn’t move. His voice was cold. He flicked his hand, knocking the guard’s shove away like it was nothing. Pain twisted the guard’s face. That casual flick felt like his palm had exploded. “Ah—!” He couldn’t help screaming. Ronan Crest turned, calm and slow. “I’m curious—who are you carrying, and where exactly are you taking them?” He was asking, sure, but it was just lip service. He wasn’t blind; he could see it was two blond women. And by the look of it, they weren’t wearing clothes. “I don’t know what you think you’re doing, but I’m the nosey type.” “Put them down and walk away. Otherwise, you’re getting your asses kicked.” He rolled his shoulders, voice light, like it was nothing. “Screw you. Who the hell are you to boss us around? You sick or something?” The guard he’d smacked barked back, shaking the hand that got hit. The pain wouldn’t go away. His whole arm felt useless. Like that lazy slap had straight up fractured bone. “Don’t test me. If you do, it’ll end really badly for you.” “And I mean really badly.” Ronan Crest’s voice stayed calm and airy, but every word fell heavy, like a weight on the chest, forcing a chill down the spine. The guards heard him and a cold dread ran through them. They started to shake. “You, you…” The guard who’d been mouthing off now trembled, tongue tied. Ronan Crest stared him down. His eyes were ice, but his mouth held a hint of a smile. It wasn’t warm, wasn’t cruel—just a thin smile with a shard of frost in it. That half-soft, half-cold smile hit harder than a snarl. It broke their nerve fast. “Who is this guy?” “Feels tough. The kind you don’t mess with.” “We should back off.” “But Young Master Chen said toss them in the sea. Do we keep going or…?” They whispered, nerves fraying. Young Master Chen? Toss them in the sea? Ronan Crest’s frown deepened. He let out a short, cold chuckle. “Didn’t think I’d stumble into something like this. That’s murder.” He drew a slow breath, then said, voice like a blade, “I’m out of patience. Last chance—put them down and leave. Or I’ll toss you into the sea instead.” His words were winter-cold. The guards shook harder. It felt like an ice pick had speared straight through their hearts.
