• Kane watched as the events unfolded before him in slow motion. He had just come back from a fierce battle that had left him more scarred than he would like, and he was livid.
• The only thing that has been keeping him sane is the fact that his mate is coming back home after so many years. He didn’t want to admit it, but he was nervous.
• He wondered about the changes that had occurred to her all the while she was outside the country, and he couldn’t help but want to see her.
