Chapter 69

• The young man took a deep breath and his body trembled involuntarily as soon as the thought crossed his mind. His breathing quickened and his heart skipped a bit. He held the necklace firmly in his hand and sighed deeply, trying to control his breath that seemed out of control.
• He snapped out of his thoughts when the elderly woman in the house called out for his attention. He glanced at the empty room before pushing the necklace inside his pocket with so much care.
• He rushed into the small house of the elderly woman. “Hope all is well with my wife,” he demanded with a concerned look on his face.
