Chapter 30 A Panic Attack

• I look between my Uncle and Mario and to be honest he looks confused and taken aback by my Uncle's statement. “Excuse me” I say and stand to go to the toilet, the glass of wine feels heavy in my empty stomach, as my hands get sweaty. Leo stands up with an expression that is a mix of concern and anger, I shake my head as he tries to say something but all I need is to get away from that table.
• I get into the ladies toilet and lock the door as the room starts to spin, I slide down the door as I feel like my heart is squeezing. A fucking panic attack thats what is going on I am having a panic attack, seriously Allegra; I think as I work to calm myself sucking in some air. I sit for a few moments when there is a knock on the door.
