Chapter 22 Coming Around

• My head hurts as I am pulled from my void of nothingness by voices, at first I don’t recognise them. It is like trying to hear while under water, I feel a touch. It’s light but it is comforting, it’s as though it’s pulling me towards it. The voices get clearer and I know one belongs to Leo, my Leo.
• I try so hard to open my eyes, I'm almost pleading with my body to work for me. The minute he calls me Leggy I feel an odd sensation spread through me and my eyes flutter open but my heart is racing and a pain in my leg has me wincing. Suddenly the room fills with doctors and nurses, the two men who are staring at me with so much worry are ushered out of the room.
