Chapter 7 Climbing Onto A Man's Bed

  • The Underground Tea Shop was situated near their school.
  • Upon entering, she spotted Fei Chenye sitting by the window, dressed in a white shirt and black suit pants. On the table were two cups of milk tea, their favorites.
  • "Chenye, when did you come back? Is there something you need from me?" She placed her backpack on the table and took a seat across from him.
  • Fei Chenye, her fellow student and best friend, had recently returned from studying abroad at a prestigious foreign university.
  • A faint smile appeared on Fei Chenye's face, and there was a hint of concern in his eyes. "I went to Yang's house today to find you, and they said you were already married. How is that possible?"
  • Nian Xunxia pursed her lips, her eyes feeling sour, tears welling up, and her heart felt like it was being stabbed with a sharp knife.
  • She and Fei Chenye were on the verge of confirming their romantic relationship, but an unexpected marriage had completely shattered their chances of being together.
  • Did she never have the opportunity to grasp her own happiness?
  • Taking a deep breath, she tried her best to suppress the reluctance and sorrow deep in her heart.
  • After a long silence, she looked into his sincere and gentle eyes and said, word by word, "They are right. I got married a month ago."
  • Fei Chenye's pupils dilated upon hearing her words. "No... it's impossible. You must be lying to me."
  • He grabbed Nian Xunxia's hand that was placed on the table. "Xunxun, did you encounter any difficulties that made you lie to me like this? Tell me, I'll help you solve them."
  • Nian Xunxia sheepishly withdrew her hand and shook her head. "No, it's true. We got our marriage certificate on March 1st."
  • March 1st, wasn't that the day he was supposed to leave for his exchange program abroad?
  • Fei Chenye couldn't believe his eyes. "Why?"
  • If nothing major had happened, Nian Xunxia wouldn't have gotten married before graduating. They had promised to be together after graduation!
  • Just one more year, just one more year!
  • Si Jincheng left the Si family and was thinking of going to a bar with his friends when he passed by a milk tea shop. He caught sight of a familiar figure and upon closer inspection, he realized it was Nian Xunxia. She was sitting in front of another man, holding hands, looking intimate.
  • A scornful smirk appeared on his lips.
  • Did she fail to seduce him, so she quickly moved on to find another target?
  • After all, she is the daughter of the Yang family and the wife of the Si family. How can she be so shameless?
  • By some strange coincidence, he walked in, leaving a few good friends behind as he ordered them to stay put.
  • He found a spot closest to Nian Xunxia and the others, where he could hear their conversation without being seen.
  • After Fei Chenye asked, "Why?" Nian Xunxia's eyes turned red.
  • She hesitated for a long time before finally speaking, "I'm not worthy of you."
  • Ever since the day she was framed by Yang Chuxia and lost her innocence, she knew that it was impossible for her to be with him.
  • He was such a clean and gentle person, and the sole heir of the Fei family. How could he be with a woman as tarnished as her?
  • Tears uncontrollably streamed down her face.
  • Upon hearing these words, Si Jincheng sneered coldly. This woman's tactics never change.
  • Retreat to advance.
  • Fei Chenye wiped away her tears with a tissue, his brows furrowing with concern. "How can you say that you're not worthy of me? You're the best girl in the world. Don't think such nonsense, okay?"
  • Nian Xunxia shook her head. "Just forget about me, pretend like we never met."
  • With that, she grabbed her bag and tried to leave, but Fei Chenye immediately grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his embrace.
  • "Xunxun, how can I forget about you? Have you forgotten our promise? Don't you remember that night when we..."
  • He softly and tenderly spoke.
  • Si Jincheng's eyebrows raised coldly.
  • That night?
  • It seems that this woman had already slept with that man!
