Chapter 2 Rounds Of Sex

  • They couldn't even make it to the bedroom before Bisola stripped off her gown. So they had s*e*x on the couch, and fortunately Kunle had a condom in his jean pocket.
  • Kunle carried Bisola into the bedroom after different rounds of s*e*x and late-night talking, where they had another round of s*e*x before drifting off to sleep.
  • They say that if you close your eyes and someone stares at you, you will know. In Kunle's case, he opened his eyes to find his mother staring at him from the chair in his bedroom. He tried to close his eyes, thinking he was in a dream, but it only made her look more clear.
  • He stood up quickly and yelled softly, "Mother?"
  • "You should get out of that bed before I pour you both this water I'm holding in my hands," she said, holding a glass of cold water.
  • Kunle tapped Bisola, who was still sleeping; she stirred and tried to fall back asleep.
  • "Young lady, if you don't want cold water poured on you this cold harmattan morning, you better get dressed and go," his mother advised.
  • Bisola quickly got up when she heard the older woman's voice and was embarrassed to find her seated in the room and staring at her.
  • "What... Kunle, who is she to you?" She inquired, perplexed.
  • "It's his mother!" Now you better get dressed and leave before I call security and have you thrown out." Kunle's mother yelled yet again.
  • Bisola, perplexed, looked to Kunle for confirmation. "I'm sorry Bisola, just go, I'll call you later okay?"
  • "No, he won't," his mother stated.
  • "Do you mind, Mother?"
  • "I give you two minutes to get dressed and meet me in the sitting room," his mother turned to leave without looking back at Bisola, who was already running around looking for her clothes, which were in the sitting room, so Kunle had to get dressed and go fetch them for her.
  • "I'm sorry, Bisola; I never intended for her to come in here." Kunle said
  • "sure, I understand your mother comes to your room every morning to check on you, I presume for morning devotion?"
  • "No, Bisola, you have misunderstood this whole thing now." Kunle said.
  • "Please spare me your explanation, the last thing I need in my life is a mama's boy," Bisola said as she finished dressing up. Kunle, enraged, followed suit to speak with his mother in the sitting room.
  • "Mother, what was this whole drama all about?" How did you get into my house like that? "How did you even get your hands on my keys?"
  • "Kunle Idowu, you will not be disrespectful to your mother." she said.
  • "rude? Mother, you came into my house uninvited, you barged into my bedroom and almost caught me having sex."
  • "Will you shut up your stupid mouth, thinking you're all grown up and above spanking?" You wouldn't believe what I would do to you if you said another disrespectful word." she yelled at Kunle with rage.
  • Kunle can't believe his mother sometimes; how she does something wrong and then bullies you into apologizing for her own wrong is beyond him.
  • "I'm sorry, mother," he admitted grudgingly.
  • "That's more like it; now come sit down because we need to talk about something important."
  • "Mother, what could that be?" he asked.
  • "Your father has asked you to marry or you will lose your inheritance." she said.
  • "what? Is that some sort of joke?" Kunle was shocked.
  • "No, it isn't, and you only have three months or you'll be left with nothing!" she said.
  • "Wait a minute, you're kidding, right? Surely this has to be a joke, right?" Kunle said.
  • "And why would I leave my house this lovely morning just to come play a joke on you? We are not, according to my calendar, This is not April, before you say I am doing April fool" she said.
  • "But, mother, you can't just give me an ultimatum to marry; I'm not ready, at least not yet."
  • "And why do you think you are not ready? So you can keep chasing everything on skirt? How long do you think you can keep up this way of life? You change girls more frequently than you change your clothes. It's gotten so bad that you have a separate apartment where you bring the girls, ha Kunle!" She yelled softly at him.
  • "Mother, stop yelling, you're going to raise your blood pressure." Kunle said.
  • "Let me shout Kunle, let me shout o because this is too much, how can you rent an apartment that is different from the one you already have just so you can be bringing girls there?" "Leave me let me shout o because this is too much." she continued yelling.
  • "I bought it, and it's not because I want to bring ladies. I purchased the apartment because I liked it." In reality, he bought this house to entertain his female friends; he didn't want any of them knowing where he lived because he considered it his haven and didn't want any of them bringing their problems there. His mother's discovery of this location still perplexes him, as only his friends and personal assistant were aware of it.
  • "So you actually bought it? Kunle, you have three months to marry or your inheritance will be transferred to your cousin Jide, and you know what that means "His mother stood up to leave and took her handbag from the chair she was sitting in.
  • "You and Dad can't do this to me, Mother; you can't give away my inheritance."
  • "We're already doing it, and if you're not married by the end of three months, you can kiss your inheritance goodbye; you need to become more responsible, Kunle; you can't keep living like this, you're not getting any younger."
  • "Mother, please don't do this; I can't get married, at least not now; I'm not sure why you and father would make such a decision; this is my life, and I can live it however I want." he said.
  • "We're still saying the same thing, it's either your inheritance or this misconduct you call a life, let me ask you something, do you know where that girl who just left here is from?"
  • Kunle remained silent because he knows nothing about her except her first name and the sorry story of her ex-boyfriend.
  • ""Tell me you know at least her surname?" she asked
  • "I...."
  • "Do you see what I mean? How could you possibly be sleeping with someone you have no prior knowledge of? If I talk now, you'll say it's the twenty-first century, and things have changed."
  • "You just took the words right out of my mouth" he said.
  • "very good, since it's the twenty-first century, it won't be difficult for you to find a wife, abi?"
  • "Mother, I'm not getting married." Kunle reiterated.
  • "OK, be prepared to forego your inheritance then," his mother said as she left the house, leaving Kunle wondering what had happened to his parents, why would they do something so heinous? He knows he hasn't been living the best life lately due to his womanizing habits, but that doesn't mean he doesn't love himself "He does not actually know when to draw the line. He is both a hard worker and a hard player.
