Chapter 31 **The Austelins Mansion Bryan's Home Arrival: 10 Pm**

• "Damn! I can't believe all we did today was a waste of time. Not even the police found the so-called Dark Shadows in that club. I can’t believe I gave out so much cash to a stranger and got scammed." He fell on the sofa and lamented angrily. His hope was to at least have a word with the Dark Shadows and get to know them, but everything didn’t fall into place.
• "Sir, I feel your pain, but have you maybe tried calling the strange man we met yesterday? Tell him we couldn’t find the Dark Shadows like he promised, and he’ll be in serious trouble if he doesn’t return our money," Carlo advised calmly.
• "I don’t want to call that bastard! He scammed me already and got away with the money. There’s no way he would have snitched on the Dark Shadows. He’s just one of the toys they used to fool me," Bryan replied angrily, trembling his leg restlessly. He felt cheated like a fool.
