Chapter 7 I'm Your Daddy

  • Yvaine.
  • I didn’t understand what was happening; I had to get home as soon as possible. Roy was very restless, hungry, and I needed to breastfeed him as soon as possible, or he would throw a tantrum at any moment, which was not recommended to witness.
  • Aila was eager to see when she could join in, as not being the center of attention was something she couldn’t bear. So she would join her brother's tantrum. I tried to tell the police officers, but all they said was to follow them.
  • As we were approaching a room, I was fed up with not being told anything. Roy was not willing to wait any longer, and Aila would join him at any moment.
  • “Either you tell me where we’re going right now, or I won’t move! I have to feed my son, and if you don’t want to see my breasts, you better turn away and then arrest me for public disturbance because my son needs to eat now!” I said angrily, looking at them.
  • “That won’t be necessary, Yvaine. Our children are going to eat right now. I’ll help you satisfy them. Others are irrelevant. I don’t want anyone witnessing what’s exclusive to me and my kids,” that voice paralyzed me and brought back memories. I looked towards the source and felt like hell had broken loose and I was in the middle of the fire. I was blank and unresponsive, but he, on the other hand, ordered everyone out of the room, picked up his two children from the stroller, one in each arm, and his face reflected all the love in the world as he introduced himself to them.
  • “Hello, my heirs. I am your daddy, and from today on, you become the most important assets in my life and in the entire Miller Holding, along with your mother,” he said, kissing their heads. His voice expressed emotion, something that didn’t fit with what I knew about the great CEO of Miller Holding. But the surprises didn’t end there. Then, those two troublemakers looked at him calmly and curiously, until finally, Aila smiled at her father, and he was captivated by the smile of that little mermaid.
  • I was paralyzed, watching them as if I were watching a movie, not knowing what to say or do.
  • “Since when are these two troublemakers so calm, as if they were angels? And on top of that, my cheeky daughter is trying to win over her father. And above all, how can this man’s words make me tremble? This can’t be happening. What if he decides to take them away from me?” Thousands of thoughts flooded my mind, and a terrifying fear began to settle in my heart.
  • “Are you going to feed them after all? I think Roy William is hungry,” he said, looking at me. This made me react, and with some hesitation, I approached to pick up Roy.
  • “How do you know my children’s names?” I managed to say when the words came out. He looked at me intensely but didn’t answer. I immediately felt like laughing at myself for thinking this. It was the great Norman Miller, nothing escaped his control, not his knowledge, not even us.
  • “He’s always hungry, his needs always come first,” I said to Norman as I took his son from his arms, while I began to unbutton my shirt without realizing that he was watching with interest.
  • “I see that you don’t mind undressing in front of me, you do it quite often. Not that I mind, but…” he didn’t let him finish.
  • “Your son has a very clear way of demanding his needs. I think he takes after his father in that regard, so either I feed him now or…” I realized at that moment that I had admitted that the children were his.
  • I couldn’t continue my explanation. It seemed that Roy had grown tired of waiting, and with such small lungs, a scream came out that made our ears hurt. Aila, seeing that all the attention was on Roy, decided that it was also time to claim the spotlight that she always enjoyed and joined her brother in crying.
  • “There you have it. I don’t know how you’ll call him, Norman Miller, but I call it the contribution of paternal genes,” I said sarcastically, puffing out my chest and putting it to my son Roy’s mouth. He immediately stopped crying.
  • Seconds later, as if in a coordinated chorus, Aila also stopped crying and smiled at her father again. Norman, at first, looked at me incredulously, but upon seeing the character of his children, he smiled with pride.
  • “I like that they know what they want and go for it. Besides, I see that there’s something else my son has inherited from his father,” Norman told me, looking passionately at the way his son was sucking on my breast. Meanwhile, Aila played with her father’s tie, while he held her in his arms.
  • “I think now that they’re calmer, it’s time for you to tell me what you want and what you intend to do. I’m not going to give you the children, not for all the Miller money. They won’t separate me from them. And if you take me to court, I promise to fight to the end," I said, looking at him challengingly.
  • “Yvaine, that’s an unattainable wish. I’d like to remind you, as I did that night when we were together, that you belong to me. Only you can bear the Miller name, just like my children will henceforth, thanks to my legal discussions. The notion of separation is an error, future Mrs. Miller. You are my partner; you've been mine since the moment you pleaded for me to claim you. So, apart from determining when we should marry and informing your company of your departure, I don’t believe there’s anything else to address. As we embark on this journey together, I hope you understand the gravity of your role as the future Mrs. Miller and the mother of my children.” declared the arrogant and confident businessman.
  • “It was you who arranged everything for me to come back, the expropriation, and all that!” I said angrily, avoiding shouting so as not to disturb Roy while he ate. He wouldn’t forgive me for bothering him when he was satisfying his hunger. This child made the same faces as his father when he didn’t get his way.
  • “I had to make you come back. I couldn’t allow my wife to live in conditions that I can’t control.”
  • “Who says I’m going to marry you, Norman Miller? I accept that you’re their father, I even accept coming back here so that you can be close to them, but if we’re talking about getting married, for one night of sex, for one strange night of sex…” I couldn’t speak to him without remembering how my body felt in his arms, how he made me feel when I was his, how…
  • Norman approached me, interrupting my thoughts, and took Roy from my arms, who had already fallen asleep after breastfeeding. He put him on his shoulder, having previously left Aila in the stroller playing with his tie, which he had taken off to give her since it caught her attention. I didn’t even want to think about how much that tie would be worth, which now my daughter was drooling on as she put it in her mouth.
  • After burping his son, he placed him in his stroller to sleep.
  • I, for my part, tried to cover my chest, while half paralyzed, I observed the scene as if hypnotized, and tried to find the exact words, without seeming stupid. Quickly, Norman approached me and said:
  • “Don’t do it!” – and without further ado, he grabbed my wrists, lifting my arms above my head, preventing me from fully covering my chest. He leaned his head towards my chest, placing his mouth where his son had done before, licking and kissing it fervently.
  • His action was so quick that I could barely protest, and a moan of pleasure escaped my lips involuntarily. I was left numb, I could only let him do as he pleased.
  • “How is it possible that the mere touch of this man makes me lose my mind?” – I thought.
  • “I understand the addiction my sons have for you, it’s something their father also shares. Your taste drives me crazy!” – he said, separating his mouth from my nipple and moving my arms behind my back, pulling me towards him. Without hesitation, he began to kiss me.
  • At that moment, I lost all desire to fight, if I ever had any.
  • “You will marry me soon, I have missed you so much, I can’t get you out of my mind,” – he said, kissing my neck.
  • “How can you say that to me? We don’t know each other, we were only together for one night, a long night. You have known many women, why do you want me to marry you?”
