• After an hour of wandering, I stop in front of an alleyway. It's already dark, and though the streets are alight and many people are on the move, I still can't help the feeling of helplessness that overcomes me.
• I am homeless once again. Nowhere to go and no one to call. I think of the possibility of someone helping me tonight with free accommodation, and honestly, no one comes to mind. I don't want to think of Jane.
