• He gripped Xayne by the waist and pushed her up as he rose as well.The creature leapt at them but he pulled her to the left escaping narrowly."Go!". He said pushing her away and ran up the stairs.There was scream and confusion as the wolf ran past the crowd and went upstairs as well.Xayne could hear and feel her heart pounding heavily.She staggered back trying to control her breathing while leaning to the wall.She had accidentally fell to the ground with him and while trying to recover from the shock a creature came out of nowhere to hurt them.Xayne couldn't understand a bit of what was happening."Why is the wolf after him?". She whispered.There are a lot of mysterious things about him that she couldn't explain.Looking down she saw the book which was now wet with Tequila."He wanted to destroy it, he wasn't joking". She whispered and quickly put the book into her bag.She raised her head up and ran up the stairs immediately.The place seems to be quite and deserted with darkness.With each trembling step of fear she moved into the open room.She could hear loud groans and roar from above which sent more fear down her spine.Xayne pant as she kept moving toward the stair that lead to the roof of the building.She heard another loud roar and race back for the ground floor but stop midway the stairs on hearing the scream of someone that sounded like Shane's."You can do this, Xayne". She encouraged herself turning back to the room.She returned and climbed up the stairs slowly.The roar and howl continued getting louder and louder but she kept moving despite the fear deep down causing sweat on her fore head.Her breath was hot like the heat from an oven, dry and burning.She successfully got to the end of the stairs and pushed open the door that revealed the roof.She almost screamed at sight of blood in front of her.It was fresh and thick flowing toward were she stood.Xayne moved over it and could see the trail of blood that moved from that point to behind the chimney at the extreme end of the roof.With increased panting she followed the trail of blood and could still hear the roar which she believed was coming from behind the chimney structure."No". She whispered not having the courage to move.She wanted to run for the stairs but paused again hearing the loud voice."I don't want to hurt you, all I need is that you stay away from my damn life already, stop hunting me". She could hear the voice from behind the large chimney."Shane". She whispered and moved briskly toward the charming.Though the roar sounded like two animal fighting but his voice had given her an unknown assurance that it was safe.She got to the chimney and with one last step of suspense she turned to the structure and was shocked by what he she was.There he leaned against the structure with blood on his face and cloth and some dripping from his fingers as well."I told to go,Xayne Cruz ". He said with eyes shut that she wondered how he knew.That was when she saw the naked male body in the ground with ripped out throat.She screamed loudly staggering back and he rose from the chimney.He opened his eyes and turned to her."Stay back, stay back". She warned moving back with racing heart."It's not what you think Xayne, I can explain"."You're a killer, you were the one who hurt Jake, the bodies at the restaurant, it was you, you were there and you're mysterious". Her shaky stammered in fear."I let you see this because I'm done vanishing, let me explain Xayne"."There's nothing to explain, stay back I'm going to call the cops right away". She threatened bringing out her phone."I've never cared for anyone in my life the way I do with you Xayne, I just found myself liking the psycho in you, the way you speak, the way you walk, the way you threaten people like a movie character on stage .."."Stop talking". She roared and took another step but not knowing that she had gotten to the end of the roof.She gasped in shock and her phone fell off while she try to gain her stamina on the edge.He moved to help her by. grabbing her hand but she tried to break free and fell off.Just as she fell he dived as well grabbing her tight to himself as she screamed aloud.With the fresh wind brushing through their skin and her scream echoing in the air, his muscles expanded gripping her more tight.He landed on the ground with his foot in a unique balance like superman that he didn't fall.Xayne's eyes was shut tightly with her arms cleaving tight around his broad chest thinking she was going to die but she felt no crash pain.She could feel that huge flesh holding her tight like a baby."Is that how it feels when you die?". She thought and slowly opened her eyes.She was shocked to see his red eye balls staring deep into her baby face and had that pale light like there source of illumination in his eyes.She was lost in the imagination of his eyes while he held her in bridal style.Xayne suddenly came to senses and pulled from his arms.She raised her head and his eyes were back to normal.She couldn't believe her eyes, she was playing with a monster the entire time.Maybe she was actually done asking the question, who are you?."What are you?". She stammered and didn't even wait for his reply when she took her her heels running as fast as she could.The tears in his eyes were released, running down slowly in a zig zag motion down his cheek.Xayne could be seen running down the road road in tears crossing to the other side without confirming if it was safe to.She ran into a group street gangster while glancing back at a sharp bend to sure Shane wasn't behind and they grabbed her."It's the gangster'a street baby". They announced.She kicked one of the men on the crotch and he groaned while she wriggle free from the hands of the rest and ran into a close by store.She entered and bolt the door quickly leaning against the wall."It's our street baby, you can't run from us, it's a dangerous street, open up ". She could hear their voices and then one kicked the door."Yo man what's up? What are you doing here? "."He wants some sugar "."Let's give it up to him "."Yo man don't move further or you're gonna regret it ".She could hear their voices like they were conversing with someone.The next thing she hard was the loud vibrating sound of a pipe accompanied with a loud scream."Kill him ".She moved quickly toward the window and could see Shane beating off the men with the long pipe in his hand.He was moving really quick hitting them even before they made a move.The last man launched a dagger at him but he ducked.He attacked with it again but this time Shane caught his hand and kicked him.The man was trying to regain his stamina when he swept the man off the with the pipe and result to a rough crash on the ground.He dropped the pipe and it underwent a vibratory echo for a while.Xayne walked out of the store staring and him and he turn to her."Stay away from me". She cursed and took to her heels....Celeste's Ferrari Dino 246 GTS stopped in front of Xayne's house and she found her way into the building quickly without bothering to knock.She climb up the stairs to Xayne's room and met Aunt Monica knocking at the door."I received your message". Celeste said."Yes, She locked herself up and have been crying since she return"."I couldn't find her so I was searching for her when I saw your text, hey Xayne". She called out knocking at the door."Go away". She cried."Alright, I'll go away Xayne but don't hurt yourself, okay?". Aunt Monica said and left."Xayne". Celeste called out knocking at the door again."I said go away"."It's me Celeste, baby girl it's me ".The door pulled open and she entered.Xayne locked the door and returned to her crying position on the bed."What's wrong? I couldn't find you at the stadium, a body was found dead and I was so worried until I received your aunt's text that you've been crying since you return"."It's Shane, he's a Murderer". She cried."What do you mean?"."I don't know, there are lot of strange things about him, a wolf chased him to the roof and I went after him only to discover that he killed a man"."You mean he was the killer?"."I don't know, he had that innocent look like he didn't do it, I'm confused I don't know". Xayne cried."Then why are you worried and all messing yourself up?". Celeste asked."You're right, why am I worried whether he's a killer or not, there are lot of mysteries about him that I can't explain but maybe there's something In him that I....". Celeste said."What if I ever wanted was someone crazy like me, a psycho who joke and make fun of everything".
