Chapter 19 Forced Eviction

• In the heart of the old town, an excavator loomed ominously before Sioux Residence. A cluster of young men, clad in tattered attire and brandishing steel pipes, encircled the area with an air of menace. Dozens more wielding similar weapons barred access from the rear, casting a shadow of intimidation over the neighboring residents who had gathered in solidarity.
• Despite their trembling resolve, Leon, Bernice, and Audrey stood firm in defiance before the imposing machinery.
