• I would never get used to him being the leader of a gang, or whatever that was all about. I still didn't understand why I was hiding all this. It would have been easier if I had known about it sooner, but that's not what happened.
• Many things were going through my head, but what disturbed me the most was if something bad was going to happen to him.
• I loved Anthony. He was everything to me, despite the odds. As much as it deprived me of the truth, it was almost impossible to stay away from him for long.
