After breakfast, Sofia sent the kids off to school with the bodyguard and chauffeur. She stood by the doorway, watching until the car disappeared down the driveway. Turning back inside, she spotted Leonardo heading upstairs to get ready when Ava’s voice stopped him.
“Leo,” she called, her tone soft and deliberate as she stepped forward, eyes batting with practiced sweetness. “Will you drop me off? I have a meeting nearby.”
Leonardo paused, a smile tugging at his lips, and Sofia cursed silently. Why did he have to have such a charming smile?
