• Melanie awoke the next morning with soreness all over her body, she looked around the room and heaved a sigh of relief when she didn’t see Flynn anywhere around. The occurrence of the previous night filled her head as she stared at the bloodstain on the bedspread. She felt a little embarrassed when she remembered how she had begged Flynn shamelessly to make love with her. She rubbed her eyes and sat up, her body reminding her of what happened the previous night.
• The door creaked open and Flynn entered the room, with a tray in his hand. ‘’Good morning, my love,’’ he smiled at her as he settled beside her on the bed, and dropped the cup of tea in his hand on the table beside the bed.
