• "That's a god damned lie! What are you telling me!? Listen to me, Carla! I do not play jokes with my mother. If I find out that this is some kind of stupid, horrible, and not funny joke, I will never be friends with you again." I threatened as I sat up from the bed, the weakness suddenly leaving my body. Why would Carla play such a prank on me when I was in such a state where I'd easily believe whatever they said happened?
