Chapter 59

• As he wandered through the store, he couldn't resist the temptation to pick up a few more snacks to accompany his cookies. Ryan grabbed a bag of potato chips, a bottle of soda.
• With his arms laden with goodies, Ryan made his way to the checkout counter. The cashier, a friendly middle-aged woman, greeted him with a warm smile as she began scanning his items. Ryan fumbled with his wallet for a moment before finally retrieving his credit card.
• After swiping his card and entering his pin, Ryan watched as the total flashed on the screen. He winced slightly, realising that his impulsive snacking spree had made him spend more than he didn't budget. Not as if it bothered him though. He isn't a broke ass. He can afford it full time.
