Chapter 25 The Attack 3
- The black flame shrieked as the sudden strike from above tore into its mass of darkness and fire. Sparks and smoke erupted violently, throwing its writhing body to the ground. Lucas, still gasping for breath, lay on the scorched earth, muscles trembling from the sheer exertion of the previous battle. His hair was damp with sweat, and his chest rose and fell in ragged motions. The black flame writhed, one massive arm collapsing, flames hissing and sputtering as the wound spread its scorching energy across the street.

Its movement was precise, deliberate, cutting through the chaos like a blade. Onboard were two figures Agnes, the young woman who exuded confidence and calm power, and Bulb—her companion and closet friend, steady, innovative and calculated.
