Chapter 38

• Delia stepped into Miguel's room and then held her breath when the sound of the door made him stir a bit in his sleep.
• Once she saw that he hadn't awoken, she sat down beside him, then slowly ran her hand through the top of his hair which had grown a bit longer from the last time she'd seen him.
• "Maybe now that you're going to lose everything, you'll finally choose to be with me." She said, staring at his sleeping form tenderly. "We were so happy together before Margo came into our lives weren't we..." She mumbled then pulled her hand away from him as if she'd been stung.
