• “That woman… She’s no longer listening to me,” Harry growled, pacing back and forth in the bedroom of his newly bought condo. Ever since Margot started ‘rebelling’ against him, he never had a peaceful day. “Does she think I’m afraid to divorce her? I’m only married for her money. She used to be gullible and naive, easy to manipulate. What happened?”
• Nadine clicked her tongue. She had been listening to Harry go on about his wife, hurting her ears. She rolled her eyes as she sighed, crossing her legs while sitting on the bed. “What’s the hold up? If you’re not scared of divorce, just do it. You promised you’d make me your wife,” she muttered, earning a glare from him.
• “Are you crazy? If I divorce her, I might be kicked out of the company. Her father would never keep his daughter’s ex-husband around. I already have enough on my plate, preparing for the opening of the new branch, and no this woman won’t give me peace!” Harry grabbed his hair in frustration.
