- I heard footsteps approaching the alleyway, and my heart raced with fear, unsure if it was him or someone else. I put my hand over my mouth to stifle any sound, praying it was just a passerby. Just as I was about to peek out, a hand touched my shoulder, sending a jolt of terror through me.
- "Why are you hiding here?" I heard a familiar voice say, and relief flooded over me as I recognized the voice of Kevin.
- I turned my face towards him, tears of relief streaming down my cheeks as I whispered, "Kevin." I wrapped my arms around him, grateful for his unexpected presence in that moment of fear. "I thought it was him," I confessed, feeling the tension slowly leaving my body.
