• Lisa paid the taxi driver and followed Aniya to the front door of her secret house. Aniya held the door for her and went straight to the kitchen to prepare tea for them while they waited.
• Aniya's backup phone vibrated, and she stared at the message on the screen from Nick, saying that he was arriving with Davis. She served the tea and gave one cup to Lisa, who held it with trembling hands.
