• The cars parked on a clearing of grass after going to a small side street on the left side of the country road on which they were travelling.
• Lucas Dalton signalled Aniya to join the three men near him the moment she exited her limousine, and Lisa followed her, with Davis right behind, leaving near the limousine Dan Rossi wondering where they were all going. When Aniya was near him, Lucas explained, “The house is along this street, almost three kilometres from here. Your friend can wait near the cars with our administratives and guard this road just in case someone arrives and we find ourselves surrounded."
• Aniya answered with a frown, “Lisa won't do such a thing. She and Davis will go with me. I don't trust any of you that much to be alone in the woods with the likes of you. You may trust one another, but I don't."
